If you loved what Christian Siriano for Lane Bryant debut this summer, then get ready to spend all of your money because the Fall collection is another hit. I was invited to his showroom for champagne, treats, and fashion in Midtown to check out all the new goodies coming to Lane Bryant.

Give the models a round of applause. They are serving!!!

There's prints, brocade, and the injection of cobalt blue throughout the line. The pink moto from his first collection is now available in cobalt (swoon). There's a little black dress with cut outs, a fur trimmed vest, a plaid cape, brocade topped jumpsuit, lace detailed dresses, full midi skirts, and so much more.

My favorites are the dresses. There is a dress to fit any mood you are in. I love the grey printed mockneck dress for the office, and the white maxi for a night out on the town. There is a wrap dress (featured on the model above) that would be great for a luncheon. In addition to all the new apparel, there are handbags and accessories as well. Snakeskin is a favorite of mine, especially in bold colors. The handbag charms are super cute, and affix to any one of the bags.

I have my list ready, and I suggest you do the same. This collection is sure to go quick, so make sure you head to Lane Bryant or online to pick up some goodies of your own. #Summer16

It's Labor Day, which means its the unofficial end of the summer. I must admit, this summer went by fast. Between the events (BlogHer, Curvy Con, Rock The Block, Curlfest), blogging, and enjoying the hot temps, I must say I was a busy bee. With so much going on this summer, I managed to do the following:

Find the perfect white swimsuit

I have been on the hunt for the longest to find something that was supportive and sexy. My quest for the perfect suit was found and I rocked it at the Golden Confidence Pool Party. It was a major hit!

Go away on vacation

I am the type to say I'm going to get away, but I just end up staying in NYC running errands. I made it a goal to attend BlogHer: Experts Among Us in Los Angeles. Though I was there for a short time, I still managed to visit Torrid, catch up with my friends that lived out there, and learn how to take my blog to the next level. Though I had blog work to do, I still made an effort to enjoy the beautiful weather and people.

Enjoy what comes your way

This summer I made an effort to go out and enjoy as much as I can (without burning myself out too much). I went to so many great events this summer, but I also tried to just enjoy downtime with my friends and more importantly solo time. I must say, with all the things I accomplished, my first photo shoot, a lookbook, the events, there is still more for me to get done. Fall is coming and with it, all the new, bold trends for us to try. So stay tuned, cause even though #Summer16 is ending, there is still a lot more to share and do.

Beach Babe

At Essie's Pool Party she debut the collaboration with a fashion show. When I say I was in love immediately, it was an understatement. I love a good two piece, but their one pieces were show stoppers as well.

I'm going to be honest, plus size swimsuits were awful. It was only a basic one piece or a floral inspired frock that just made not even want to go to the pool or beach. Though I loved fashion, swimwear was the bane of my existence.

Then over the course of the last two-three years, there has been a shift in how cool the designs were. The type of suits that were used to hide everything were a thing of the past. Bright, bold, and sexy was on the forefront and I was all for it.

Rebdolls has always been known for their sexy sets, and fun tee's. I have always been a fan of the brand, but their latest collaboration with Essie Golden & Everything Curvy & Chic was definitely a mic dropper.

The Beach Babe swimsuit is all that you can want in a swimsuit. It supports the girls, does not ride up, and looks great. I can't ask for anything more. Chante & Essie did their thing with this collection (please do another one!!!). A beach day calls for some good footwear, and these sandals from Teva were perfect while I was out on the beach. The Universal Teva in white iridescent (now on sale!!!) are great for the beach and beyond. I had so much fun on my last day in Cali. I can't believe it's been almost three weeks since I went with the IG Wives. Crazy how fast time flies when you are having fun and looking good. Muah!

Something For Work

I have found the perfect work dress. This dress can be worn all year long, dressed up or down, and above all else, it's the perfect shade of red. Dresses like this one here from Maggy London, are a dream. You just throw it on, add a good shoe and you are out the door. My morning routine is very simple, and when I find dresses that don't require ironing, I'm sold. I don't hate ironing, just that I rather get some more sleep than to wake up earlier to knock out some wrinkles.

The London Times Maisy dress is A1. The v neck fit & flare has ample stretch, and fits like a dream. The simplest of dresses can still make an impact especially in a bright red hue. I decided to just go full on red, and rocked a red lip, sunnies and nude heels. The dress also comes in royal blue, which is also amazing...now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I should get that one too. Ladies if you are looking for a dress that you can wear to work, after work drinks, and then rock some flats on Saturday to run errands, then look no further. Trust me, you will get a lot of wear with this dress. See ya lovers!

A Little Fancy

These days, wearing anything not denim is considered dressing up. Every once in a while I want to get fancy. Am I going to a gala, no, but sometimes I just want to put on a great dress and show off.

Instead of traditional black, I wanted to wear a navy dress. The Maggy London Bethany dress is a great dress for a night or day out. The color is seasonless, and it pairs well with everything. I love navy with metallics. Metallics just bring out the best in navy. Instead of going with silver or gold, I thought rose gold heels would be a nice touch. Things that I love about the dress, first is the mesh neckline. The mesh illusion top gives the dress a nice touch of sexy without revealing anything . Also the mesh sleeves provides nice amount of coverage for those that do not feel comfortable going sleeveless. Second, the stretchy material makes it super comfortable to wear. I definitely recommend this dress if you are looking for something to wear to a wedding or to an event. It's affordable, and you will get so many uses out of this. What do you say lovers?
