A great coat is definitely needed when you live on the East Coast. Even though coats are vital, having a great looking coat for a woman bigger than a 14 was a challenge. Don't get me wrong, a peacoat is timeless, but I was just sick of them in cheaply made black fabric. Then things started to change. I started coming across pretty and warm options for coats. Better yet, they were in color! Granted, as a New Yorker, my uniform is black, but when it comes to my coat, I will try different colors and prints. Might as well look great while trying to bypass hundreds of tourists on the street. Eloquii coat's have been a favorite of mine for some time now. Last year, I purchased their red plaid coat, and received soo many compliments on it. It feels good when people on the street have coat envy. This year, they updated the design in green plaid and faux leather sleeves. The Studio Plaid Coat is awesome. I can wear it to work and dress it down for the weekend, like I did here with my jeans and moto boots. It was a little breezy so I wanted to break out my Happy Pom Pom hat from the Gap. I have a pretty decent collection of winter hats. Hats are my favorite cold weather accessory. This hat is super cute and I love how the grey marl brings out the plaid in my coat. As you can see being warm and stylish makes me happy, what are your must have's for the winter?
