I had a chance today to go to Prospect Park with my bestie The Lollipop Princess. We walked around and took some great shots of the park and of me for this post. I went with my new Forever 21+ Athletic inspired dress. Three reason why I bought this dress- the collar reminds me of a basketball jersey (I wore a lot of jerseys back in the day- actually I still have some of them stored away), it's super soft, and its only $20! On the weekends you can't go wrong with a dress that is soft and stretchy especially when you have great weather and you are in the mood to walk around. I got the dress in a 2X, but I could have went with a 1X if I wanted it more form fitting. The dress is currently on the waitlist, so more should be available soon, but there is a shorter version in Scuba available now. Once again I went with a pair of sneakers, but not just any sneakers, I went with my brand spanking new Nike Air Huarache. I came across these on Nordstrom's website for promotion of their latest Nike Pop-In Shop. Let me tell you that if you want a great lightweight sneaker for this summer, get you a pair of Huarache's. It's like walking on pillows. Cute and comfy- that's what its all about for me all day everyday. My bag of choice was my Coach Mini Tassel Bucket bag and my jacket is an oldie but goodie from Ashley Stewart. Check out the rest of the pics below and sound off in the comments.
