Fur Addict
I remember when I was little, my mom had this great fur coat with the matching hat. She looked so glam every time she wore it. It was soo plush and warm, I just knew once I was an adult I was going to get me a fur. When I was on the hunt on a fab fur item, it wasn't as easy to find something in my size. I guess the fashion gods looked out for me, because after I gave up my hunt for a fur coat of my childhood dreams, I started to find faux fur options that were just as lux as my mom's coat from back in the day. I didn't have to have something real to still feel glamourous. I could have the look of fur without the heavy price tag. After my first faux fur vest, I found a coat, scarf, more vests, and each one looks great without tapping my pocket (I deal hunt as much as possible). Nowadays, there are so many options especially in a vest, that I look for ones that are standouts (currently I have 6 fur vests in different colors). I lean towards a lot of black in the winter, so when I saw this vest back in December at the Pop Up Plus Holiday Pop Up Shop in Wine, she had to be mine.
I love the burgandy color, and it's pretty roomy. I am wearing a 1X over my jacket. Since I gravitate towards black, it's nice to have a some color to command some attention. I have been a supporter of Pop Up Plus for sometime now, and I definitely love what they are doing in plus size. The pieces are curated with us in mind. If you are looking for items to amp up your current wardrobe, then head to their site asap. I love their trendy pieces, and their assortment is priced right. Wearing a vest over my jacket is one the easiest layering tricks out there. No one wants to be cold out here in these streets, so this is a great option to layer up without all the extra bulk. Currently the vest is on sale (50% off) and it comes in classic black!
I love me a good skinny, so when I got my hands on Fashion To Figure's jegging, I instantly fell in love. These have ample stretch, and to be honest they make my legs look great. For $35, these are a must have if you are in need of a dark rinse jean. They come up high on my waist which smooths out the tummy. My favorite booties of this season has been the Adele Laser Cut Bootie from Eloquii. The extra cushion and cool cutouts take this bootie to the next level. Also lovers, these are currently on sale, so hurry up and buy before they are gone. I topped off my outfit with some cool fingerless gloves (because I love looking like a badass), and my oh so versatile satchel from Dooney & Bourke. What fur items are you feeling this season? Sound off in the comments!! Muah!!
