Waiting
After the most brutally cold V Day weekend, I was happy to see the weather finally pick up. Mr Groundhog said we were having an early Spring, but where were the sunny skies? This past weekend was what I hoped, warm and sunny. The type of weather that makes you want to stroll around like Jill Scott with a cute guy in tow. I had my eye on this skirt from Harper + Liv since I saw it in their showroom last summer. It's made of a thick ponte material and the mesh panel sets it apart from all my other skirts. I have been all about my midi flare skirts, but this pencil skirt just had to be mine. I love this shade of blue because it looks great against all skin tones. I have been playing around with different color combo's and I decided to give my new shoes a try with this outfit. Lace up's are still going strong this season, and these from Steve Madden are definitely on trend. The block heels makes them very manageable to walk in (I had them on for hours and my feet were just fine), and the color looks great with pastels (grey is number 1). If you are looking for a lace up shoe with a little height, definitely give the Niftee a try. My faux leather moto from Target is back again making a guest appearance. One weekend was not enough, I'm waiting on Spring like tick tock.
