Tanger X StyleWatch
I was invited this weekend to go on a shopping excursion with People Style Watch and Tanger Outlets. My blogger boo Grown and Curvy Woman came with me and we were up to the challenge. We were given $250 to shop at the outlets and then get styled by People Style Watch. The best IG post for this challenge would receive $5000 shopping spree. We visited the Tanger Outlet in Deer Park, LI. The outlet has some goodies to shop. When it comes to shopping at outlets a lot of times it's hard to find items in my size, but I will say when out in Deer Park, I was able to find a lot of goodies that did come in size (there were several things I wanted, but they were sold out...sad face). I found a super cute bomber jacket at the Gap Outlet, a long lace maxi dress from Torrid, and a nice crossbody from Kate Spade. Even though a lot of the stores such as Gap, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor Loft do not carry XXL or a 18-20 in stores, but in the outlets they do, so there is more of a chance of you finding something that you love out there. I went to the Social Style Shop to get some advice on how to style my goodies, and some Spring fashion inspiration especially in the accessory department.
The outlet had many places to eat, and a movie theater, so you could make a day of it. I will definitely try to head out there again because there were a lot more stores I would have loved to shop in. Since it was such a beautiful day, I wanted to of course be comfortable, but wear items I can easily change out of. I'm not a big fitting room person, but if I'm at an outlet I am more inclined to try an item on before buying since who knows when I will be back.
I wore my favorite pink moto from Mynt 1792, this is an oldie but goodie, but Torrid has one currently on sale. I wore my favorite crop top from Simply Be and these adorable crop pants from Eloquii. Since Spring is upon us, I had to get a fresh pair of white Nike's. After attending the Air Max Con a couple of week's back I felt all nostalgic and got the Air Max 1 in all white. After shopping we went to this rooftop bar called Mr Purple. The food- banging. Drinks-banging. The view- banging. If you get a chance to go, definitely give the proscuitto pizza and the rooftop lemonade a try. I enjoyed myself, and I want to thank my blogger boo for coming with me, and to People StyleWatch for the invite.
