Hella Cute

I was chatting about how plus size fashion has changed over the years. How the industry is shifting and realizing that plus size women do not want a sea of black drab clothing. Brands are seeing us as the vivacious fun loving women that we are. One of the lines I love is Target's collaboration line with Who What Wear. They bring the latest in fashion at affordable prices. One day while I was scrolling on the gram, Who What Wear was hosting a giveaway for reaching 30k. Like they say you gotta be in it to win it, so I added my name and I ended up being one of the winners! The prize was an item of my choice, so I decided to go with this romper. Now rompers are no stranger to the blog, but I love how this one had ruffles on the sleeves and legs.

I'm wearing a 2X in the romper, and it was perfect for a hot Saturday. The self tie belt defines my waist, and the leg openings are roomy. Since the romper was giving me 70's vibes I paired the romper with my favorite flatforms from Nine West. These are oldies, but goodies, but I have linked a similar style. Definitely check out the romper because it's now on sale and going fast!

I decided to wear this fun & flirty look for a girl's night out. Our favorite meetup is this pizza restaurant in Brooklyn called Zurilee. It's a great little spot right in my friend's backyard. The restaurant takes pizza, New York staple and incorporate the Caribbean vibes of Flatbush to create amazing brick oven pies.

My bestie heading in for drinks, pizza, and laughs!!!

Our Happy Hour Drink of choice was the Casablanca. A nice refreshing drink with a rose for a bit of flair. I enjoyed the Lee which is for cheese lovers, Chi had the East Flatbush (not pictured), and Ro had the Bread.

Girl's night was so much fun. Catching up with the crew was definitely needed. All you need is a good cocktail and a great joke to make the night right. Later lovers!

When it comes to designer collaborations, 2017 has been cranking out some hits. One of the most anticipated was Target's collab with Victoria Beckham. When she first launched her line in 2008, no one suspected that she would end up being at Fashion Week, and now almost ten years later launching a line with Target.

Like many other fashionistas, I was up at 3am to get my hands on this must have collection. Unfortunately none of the Target's in my borough had the plus size collection in store for me to try on, but the fact that I was able to order all the pieces I wanted was fine for me. One of the dresses I had to have was this Tulip Applique Shift Dress. I loved the 60's vibe of the dress, and the faux leather tulips were an added bonus. For it's price, the quality is amazing. When it comes to collabs, the first thing that most expect is a cheaper quality garment. All you are paying for essentially is the name. This collection is not that at all. The material used in this collection are great for the price. For those that didn't partake you are in luck because this dress is now on sale for $28 versus it's original price of $40.

I wanted to keep the mod vibes going, so instead of wearing heels, I went with my favorite loafers from Sam Edelman. These are pretty old, but there are two new versions currently out called the Loraine and the Talia. There is also the Perri, which is a loafer/mule hybrid which is super on trend. Since it was chilly out here in these NYC streets, I went with my Jessica London moto to keep me warm and cute.

Target Plus Size

I received so many compliments on my dress. No matter what size you wear, having great fashion is something that should be for all of us. Give the girl the right dress and she can take over the world. Even better when it's on sale. Enjoy lovers.
