This outfit was full of my favorite things. For starters, there is my tee from Simply Be. Tees and jeans are my biggest addictions. If the tee is soft, has a fun saying I buy it with no hesitation. My sources for great tees are Simply Be, Asos, and Forever 21. With jeans, if the fit is amazing, brightly colored or rips of some form they must come home with me. These jeans are from last summer from Lane Bryant, but H&M has a patchwork pair in stores right now. There was a time when I refused to wear a blazer. Blazers in plus size were very blah. There was only black, navy, and the occasional white, and the only print you would find is a pinstripe. That is no longer the case (thank you fashion gods). My Windowpane print blazer is from Eloquii. What made this a keeper for me was that windowpane, unlike gingham, which in my opinion makes me look to sugary sweet cute; this print gives off a cool girl vibe. I wanted to mix things up so I wore my Houndstooth shades from Lane Bryant which plays off the blazer. I could have worn some heels, but I was in a sneaker mood, so I went with Air Force 1's. A fresh pair of Air Force 1's are a mandatory part of your Spring/Summer attire especially when you are from the Bronx. The satchel is from Dooney & Bourke and is definitely going to be in heavy rotation. Despite not being a tote (anyone that knows me, knows that I am all about a tote), this bag carries a lot without all the bulk.
